and Unity Monument in Leipzig, the <strong>Foundation Peaceful Revolution<\/strong> vom Leipziger Stadtrat beauftragt, ein Konzept f\u00fcr einen offenen Findungsprozess zu entwickeln. Dieser Prozess sollte folgende Arbeitsschritte umfassen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/freiheitsdenkmal-leipzig.de\/en\/dialog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Dialogue<\/strong><\/a> with the citizens of Leipzig and the Federal Republic of Germany on the contents of the monument, during the length of the process.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/freiheitsdenkmal-leipzig.de\/en\/standort\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Location<\/a>search<\/strong> by a <strong>citizens' council*<\/strong> in a closed meeting, based on the recommendations of an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/freiheitsdenkmal-leipzig.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Website-Standort-Experten-Entwurf-1-gross-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">expert council<\/a> **<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Drafting of a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/freiheitsdenkmal-leipzig.de\/en\/wettbewerb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Competition<\/a>. procedure <\/strong>for the design of the monument, prepared by an<strong> expert council***.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the participation process, the Peaceful Revolution Foundation will be supported and advised <strong>by the Leipzig Monument for Freedom and Unity's monitoring committee<\/strong> . At least according to a <strong><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/20180515_Denkmal_MaFo_Bericht-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">representative survey<\/a><\/strong> and <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/20180504_Denkmal_MaFo_Schlussfolgerungen.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>its evaluation<\/strong><\/a> by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitschfeld.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Hitschfeld B\u00fcro f\u00fcr strategische Kommunikation GmbH<\/strong><\/a> on behalf of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stiftung-fr.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Foundation Peaceful Revolution<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, only a minority has ever heard of the monument plans,  specifically concerning the decision of the Bundestag and the city! Not even one in five in the old federal states and just under one in three  people in the new federal states are aware of the \"basic political decisions\" on the memorial.
